Lochmoor Club is a century-old, family oriented, private, country club located in beautiful Grosse Pointe, Michigan. The Club's centerpiece is its classic 6900 yard championship quality golf course. The Club boasts a modern clubhouse, both casual and elegant dining facilities, an indoor tennis complex, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a top-rated swimming program. LochmoorClub's tournament caliber golf course, designed by Walter Travis and John H.Sweeney, first opened for play in 1917. Canopied by stately hardwood trees, the immaculately manicured greens and fairways provide a true challenge for all levels of play. Our top-flight PGA Golf Professionals are available for private and group instruction on our long range, short range, or putting practice facilities. Our highly successful junior program provides the foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment. Lochmoor's Pro Shop is recognized as one of the top 20 private golf shops in the United States and is stocked with high-end golf and everyday apparel, golf equipment, and accessories.
