About Riverside Country Club
During the 1950’s a group of local businessmen met under the name of The Radar Club in Springville, Utah. In the late 1950’s a few members of this club started floating around the idea of building a country club. Several different parcels of land were considered but ultimately, for an average price of $900 per acre, the pristine setting of the Provo River-bottoms was chosen. The official name of Riverside Country Club was adopted in 1959 and the club became a reality in 1960 with 34 Equity Members and 16 Social Members. A grand opening for the clubhouse was held on May 11, 1960 with the swimming pool opening on July 15th of the same year. In June of 1962, the long-anticipated grown-in of the golf course was ready for play and a great Utah County tradition began!
In 2008, the members of the club voted to build a new clubhouse, pro shop and pool complex. Construction commenced in 2010 and all of our stunning new facilities opened by summer 2012. The clubhouse boasts 42,000 square feet of ample dining facilities, a reception center, private banquet and meeting rooms, state-of-the-art electronics, tennis courts, a fitness facility complete with a massage treatment room, movement studio for Pilates, Zumba and Yoga classes, cardio and weight training, and exquisite locker rooms. Our 12,000 square foot Pro Shop was voted as Country Club Retailer-of-the-Year in its first year of operations! Our swimming pool complex includes a 25-meter lap pool, 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, a kiddie pool and splash pad.
Riverside Country Club prides itself in its family-friendly environment complete with activities for the golfer and non-golfer alike. It is our goal to engage each member of the family in the differing possibilities our great club has to offer!
