The Country Club of Rancho Bernardo is private equity club that has been catering to its membership since it opened in 1967 with warm, professional service.
The 18-hole award winning Championship Golf Course was designed by William F. Bell and later updated by Ted Robinson. Membership includes unlimited use of the golf course, driving range, unmatched short game area, a beautiful club house and various dining options.
Our stunning 20,000 square-foot Mediterranean style clubhouse illuminated by floor to ceiling windows, offers members an ideal home away from home. Members enjoy use of the clubhouse for club dining, tournament luncheons, private events and the breathtaking views from our relaxing patio with a beverage. Our dining facility offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with elegant bar service, 4 flat screen tv's, fine dining, bar snacks, and personal service. The Golf Shop offers personalized member services, lockers, and needed amenities. CCRB's warm clubhouse lobby offers a blazing fireplace, comfortable couches, and easy access to our administrative office where staff are ready to provide exceptional service for your needs.
Dress Code:
The Club expects the attire of its Members and guests to be in keeping with the generally accepted standards prevalent in comparable Clubs. All persons entering the Club are to be appropriately attired for the occasion. The Club reserves the right to deny access to the facilities to anyone dressed improperly. The following guidelines are intended to assist Members and guests in meeting a standard of good taste that is necessary to maintain the dignity of the Club.
Clubhouse Acceptable Attire:
Denim is allowed in the informal areas of the clubhouse. The bar and patio are considered informal areas. Denim must be in good repair. No low riders with flesh showing and no denim shorts or skorts will be allowed at any time. Exceptions – Informal parties where a dress code would be in effect for the entire clubhouse. No golf shoes, stocking feet or bare feet in the dining areas.
Golf Course Acceptable Attire:
All clothing should be changed in the locker room. Soft spikes or spikeless shoes required for all golfers. Women’s shorts, skorts and skirts are acceptable provided the outer seam measures no less than 18 inches or measures no more than 5 inches above the middle of the back of the knee. NO DENIM ALLOWED. Exceptions would be tournament themes. Men’s shirts: Banded shirts and shirts with full button fronts that are evenly hemmed may be worn untucked. All other shirts must be tucked in at all times. Short and long sleeved mock turtleneck, which have a 1-inch band around the collar, are considered acceptable golf attire.

Golf Course Considerations:
We ask that all guests adhere to the standard USGA Rules of Golf, our Local Rules and complete 18 holes in four hours and fifteen minutes or less. We also ask that you be courteous to your fellow players and respect the golf course by filling divot holes with sand provided, repair ball marks on greens, rake the bunkers and use trash receptacles. Cell Phones:
Cell phone use is permitted on the golf course and in the lobby of the Clubhouse. We ask that all cell phones are kept on the silent ring or vibrate mode. Talking on a cell phone is not permitted in the dining areas or in the bar.
