About Scotch Hall Preserve
At Scotch Hall Preserve, you’ll find yourself “on the leader board” before you even tee off. Look around and see the course described as the “Jewel of the Inner Banks,” named by Golf Digest as America’s Ninth Best New Private Course in 2009.
Live here and your home course will be a 7,254 yard championship Arnold Palmer Signature masterpiece, right outside your door. With several holes paralleling the majestic Albemarle Sound and scenic Salmon Creek, the course plays as beautifully as it looks. For all its grandeur, the Palmer Course is as playable as it is scenic. With each hole brilliantly adapted to the topography, players intuitively understand where each shot should be placed. The championship tees present a course that will challenge the most accomplished golfer, while middle and forward tees make it just as enjoyable for the more casual player, and junior tees offer a fun test to the youngest of players.
Aquatic plants, native and ornamental vegetation and lots of scenic water within the course highlight this stunning circuit. And it was all designed by the master himself, Arnold Palmer. It is a challenging, but far from unfair, course for golfers of all skill levels. You will never grow weary of this golf course. It is another reason to love True Carolina™.
