Earl C. Brookover, Sr. had a vision to create a private country club with a reputation for fine dining, elegant ambiance, and an eighteen hole championship golf course. His vision was realized in 1979 with the establishment of Southwind Country Club. 30 years later, Craig Boomhower purchased the club in January 2009 to ensure the people of Southwest Kansas a top notch golf course and private club experience.

The Golf Club at Southwind, boasts a challenging 18-hole golf course, a fine menu to please the most discriminating of tastes and a dining environment to accommodate a formal occasion, a peaceful fireside dinner, or quiet evening overlooking the pond on the 9th hole.
