About Ulen Country Club
Ulen is an 18 hole private facility, originally conceived in 1924. Mr. William Diddle of Indianapolis was hired as the course architect on February 22, 1923. He is responsible for the original layout, which is mainly intact. Ulen CC is proud of its "claim to fame" as the first William Diddle designed facility.
The entire golf facility covers 110 acres. This includes 2 acres of greens, 2 acres of tees, 25 acres of fairways, and 80 acres of maintained rough. We have two water features on the course. A lake is in play on three holes, and a creek crosses seven different holes.
